Ibragimov's Co-Promoter Iffy of Klitschko Date
Ramzan Abacharaev, Sultan Ibragimov's co-promoter and president of Golden Grain Promotions, tells Russian news site Kommersant , that he is uncertain that Ibragimov will have enough time to properly prepare for a bout with Wladimir Klitschko by the discussed date of February 23. Ibragimov would put up his WBO heavyweight title against Klitschko's IBF version. The date is on hold with HBO and New York's Madison Square Garden, the proposed venue.
”Sultan has never avoided competitors. He won’t avoid Wladimir Klitschko either. But the date of the fight cannot suit me,” Abacharaev said.
It should be noted that Abacharaev is voicing his own personal opinion, which may differ from the actual opinion of Ibragimov or the other co-promoters, Warriors Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions. Negotiations between the camps of Klitschko and Ibragimov are ongoing.
They have 4 months to prepare what is his promotoer crying about, what a ****** thing to say -
Four months isn't enough time? This is only the beginning of excuses that will stop this match-up from happening.Comment
