I don't like this idea at all. Why face DLH when they can face Mayweather at 140? I can see Dios quoting this post in the future. Arum said they'd do it, so saying he wouldn't fight Floyd wouldn't make sense.

          This fight is ridicolous.
          What makes a fight, a mega-fight?

When your brain and your heart can't agree on a winner. When you have two guys that you know are going to give their all. When you can't envision a loss for either fighter. Mosley-Cotto, Calzaghe-Kessler, even Mayweather-Hatton, those are what I want to see. Not a fight were you can say, "If he loses, so what he goes back to lightweight."

Making a truly big fight is about making something special. We've had enough "events", bring on the FIGHTS.

Yeah sure this DLH had all the skills when he looked like an amateur chasing a Mosley who got owned by Forrest twice, then ******ly chasing Mosley again in the rematch, running like a chicken from a one-dimensional Trinidad, and getting potshotted by the weak-fisted Whitaker. Great skills my ass.

Well we had Floyd vs. an old DLH, we knew who was gonna lose because of age, and we both knew that some selfish boxer won't give it his all. Yet we continued with it. So why not this?

Floyd was the favorite but Oscar was very credible especially with the fight taking place at 154.

Oscar knocking out Pac would be a foregone conclusion. But like Larry said, "If he loses (or when he loses), so what? He can go back to lightweight."
Not a fight I'm interested in.

Pacquaio vs Juan Diaz however, I'm very interested in.

Oscar said he wants one last all action fight. Man up and fight Margarito then. That's still a good win. Not every fight has to be a huge event.

If DLH only outweighs Pac by less than ten pounds in the fight, he LOSES big time.
