Why does Floyd get so much credit for barely beating a washed up Drag Queen ?

Oscar had 1 fight in the 3 years prior to fighting Floyd and lost 2 out of 3 before that. And STILL all Floyd could manage was a split decision, pretty pathetic for a supposed GOAT.Comment

Good. Well, lets get ready for him. How about starting things off with this:
--------------------------
MN File
Konstantin "Kostya" Tszyu (born September 19, 1969) is a Russian-born boxer of mixed Russian, Korean and Mongol descent. He is an Australian citizen and two time world junior welterweight champion.
The son of a fitter in a metal factory and a nurse, Tszyu was born in a town named Serov, near the Ural Mountains.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in 1992, Tszyu escaped from the Russian army and fled to Australia with his girlfriend, where they married in 1993 and became Australian citizens. Before marrying her, though, Tszyu had already turned professional, beating Darrell Hiles by a knockout in one round on March 1, 1992 at Melbourne.
Tszyu won five junior welterweight world titles, but hasn't fought since losing to Britain's Ricky Hatton in Manchester on June 5, 2005. Tszyu lost this fight, and his world title, by TKO after retiring on his stool at the end of the 11th round. He was also behind on all three cards. After this defeat, Tszyu offered Hatton his telephone number for friendship and advice.
Tszyu has been slated for a possible 2006 rematch with Zab Judah and has even talked with the Mayweather camp about a possible future meeting, but has stated he will not consider any fights in 2006, and has seemingly not yet made a decision as to whether he will continue boxing at all.
Tszyu competed on the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars, placing second.
As the Light-Welterweight champion, Tszyu was considered one of, if not the best, pound-for-pound fighters in the world; enough of a threat to be 'ducked' by Oscar De La Hoya, Arturo Gatti and even Floyd Mayweather Jr. Tszyu's record currently stands at 31 professional wins (25 by knockout), two losses and one no contest. He is considered by many in Australia to be a national sports hero. Tszyu and his family reside in Sydney where his son attends St. George Christian School.

lol! According to this article, not only did Floyd duck Tszyu, but Oscar did too! Ricky Hatton sure as hell did not.Last edited by Wiley Hyena; 10-29-2007, 11:23 PM.Comment

Because that washed up drag queen would beat the snot out of any 140er, most 147ers, and most 154ers.That was not Oscar De La Hoya we saw fighting Floyd Mayweather, it was a different guy. Ever since Oscar became a promoter he has lost his mind and his fire in the ring. He could've beat Floyd that night if he used his jab, but he just didn't seem to care and he let his fans down on Cinco De Mayo. Floyd didn't fight the real Oscar, he fought an eccentric promoter that likes to dress like a woman. If Floyd fought a prime Oscar, he would be killed.
Yes, Ricky. I said ANY 140er.Comment
