I would'nt consider beating Gatti and Judah a major achievement. Margo's win over the tough and rugged Clottey was more impressive. Dont come and say that Baldo already beat Clottey, because the fact is, Clottey was whoopin that ass up until he was dq'd for the headbutt.

I think Baldomir gets this one because although the loss count doesn't add up this guy was a headliner in a PPV featuring the best P4P fighter in the world and he beat 2 globally renowned fighters in Judah and Gatti.. Tony has beaten good prospects in low key events but one of his defeated opponents came back and put himself higher in the hype and is now getting the match that IF Tony was a bigger draw would have been his rematch, but he ain't and it's not.. as for the Clottey issue they on the same boat, Clottey was whipping Tata's ass until he got himself DQ'ed and Clottey was whipping Tony's ass before he hurt his hands..

both of their victories came due to faults of Clottey and it showed. all you really have to go by is other wins and a win over Judah IMO is better than a win over Cintron and Kyvelos, Judah was more established as a known fighter and it was a bigger turn around in careers if you compare Tony to Tata, Tata went from journeyman to undisputsed Champion and true it was due to Judah's lack of focus but he still accomplished it and tony hasn't, Tata CAN talk about what it feels like to be undisputed welterweight champion of the world and defend it against the best but Tony can't.. with all that being said I got Carlos Baldomir in this poll.. 100

And Clottey was whoopin Marg's ass until he hurt his hand. So what are you getting at? ONly one was linear WW champion of the world although they BOTH fought in the WW division.

Baldomir was the lineal champ, Marg was the paper WBO champ and lost to his first real challenge. It goes without saying; Baldy!

honestly? when he fought Diego Corrales.. however when he disposed of him the way he did I stopped doubting him since.. I haven't seen someone dispose of someone who was so highly favored to win since Buster Douglass beat Mike Tyson, not even Joe Calzaghe-Jeff Lacy compares cuz Joe couldn't finish Jeff, he got hit more than Mayweather and expended more of himself in the fight than what Floyd did.. Floyd not only won but he made it look effortless, I remember being blown away by his performance, I was watching that fight with my father and we couldn't believe it.. all due respect though to Chico (R.I.P).. 100

Baldomir by a mile. Higher profile wins, beating the undisputed Champion of the World, and I guess being the media darling of 2006 counts for something as well.
