obviously a statement he was scared to lose because he wouldnt have gained much. the mofo get beat when he fought someone good.
I can't communicate with Dip****s like you. You have a terrible comprehension problem.

Again for the last time........Roy NEVER persued a fight against Calzaghe when he was at his prime.

It was Calzaghe's responsibility to persue a fight against Roy back in those days and he never did.

I agree with you if you are talking about Roy's reign at LHW. I still think that Roy's reign at LHW is bogus, though. Fought cans for years and years.

          Yeah try it.
It was a contract that did not include Floyd Mayweather, Hatton has never signed anything that said he would "never" fight Mayweather.
          Hes fighting him Dec 8th.
          What are you thinking?

A clause of that deal was that none of those 3 fights would NOT be with Mayweather.
Thats why Hatton was talking so much trash early on, because he knew it didnt really matter, he had a year and a half to prepare for Floyd.
If there was any ducking going on, that was it.
Props to Ricky now though, for deciding he is ready and stepping up to fight Floyd.

That deal was to promote Hatton in the United States, and it was specifically determined he would not fight Floyd.

            Now eat some crow *****.

Don't change the subject now to Roy's LHW resume. That's when he was P4P king. Calzaghe was just a WBO title holder at 168. Sven Ottke was a title holder at 168lb at that time as well. Joe Calzaghe was nothing special in those days.

He was talking about Roy Jones in those days but he never made any serious effort to get a Roy Jones fight. Those are facts unless somebody can find an article where Calzaghe called out Jones when he was the LHW Undisputed champion.

Fast forward to the time after Roy lost 3 fights in a row......now Jones does want a fight against Calzaghe because Joe defeated a hot prospect in Jeff Lacy. I showed an article where Roy said he was willing to fight him at 168lb, in Whales with the winner getting 60% of the purse. Those are all advantages in Joe's favor and no deal has been reached because Joe isn't interested in a Old washed up Roy anymore.

WHAT ALL THIS COMES DOWN TO IS THAT JOE ISN'T WILLING TO COME TO AMERICA TO FIGHT ANY TOP FIGHTERS. HE EXPECTS THEM ALL TO COME TO WHALES LIKE KESSLER IS DOING NOW. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. HOPKINS ISN'T GONNA DO IT.

You just said that I claimed Hatton signed a contract that said he would never fight Floyd.

I said that Hatton signed a 3 fight promotional deal that did not include Floyd Mayweather.

                You just proved yourself wrong.

Jones fought Hopkins in 1993, Calzaghe turned pro IN DAMN 1993 and didnt win a title until 1997 when JONES WAS AT 175 and TONEY WAS FIGHTING AT CRUISERWEIGHT.

A few pounds apart my ass. And you also said Calzgahe had Pavlik there to make a fight...HA! Tarver, who on the record wanted about 10 million after the loss to Johnson and cant seem to make a fight with anyone because the massive amount of money he demands.
Great arguments. I've made those before but whenever you trap Dios, he'll switch topics and weasel his way out.

dip**** he did persure it, but roy priced himself out. the mofo wanted a **** load of money and was never ever willing to go to the uk. so dip**** how about you understand that roy would not have had a fight with joe unless he was gonna pay like 10 million dollars. i mean it wasnt worth it for joe to pay that ****.

you don't understand that no matter how much you want someone, if they dont want it then give up and find someone else. its called a conitgency plan. plan 1 fails go to plan b.
