Hatton is the hardest p4p body puncher in the fight game and he owned Castillo like a *****. Castillo was supposed to be the toughest guy in boxing and Hatton made him look like a ****in girl.

i think cotto is the hardest body puncher. and ''the toughest guy in boxing'' dont stay down and look at the ref while he count to 10. you will never see pacman, zab, barrera, or cotto stay down for the 10 count. he should at least tried to get up. even kellerman and merchant said castillio took a dive in that fight. like i said in the other thread, i take nothing away from hatton, he did a good job on his part.

I think it was more so a case of well placed shot delivered to the body of a fighter with a significant amount of wear and tear, rather than the power behind it or Castillo taking a dive. It was a great shot, no doubt. But Hatton landed some devastating body shots on Collazo and Maussa both, who seemed to walk right through them.

Hatton was in better shape for Castillo than he was for Collazo or Maussa. Castillo was past his best, and that is beyond question, but the Hatton that got into the ring with him that night was the best Hatton we;ve seen. So far.

however i will say the bodypunch was the real deal.

review the punch (if you have a copy of the fight) he was hit squarely on the liver. any fighter will go down if you hit the right spot. hatton hit it.

however even if he hadnt, castillo was mentally in the fight and it was very apparent.

had castillo been on his game hatton may not have had a stoppage at all and if he did it would have been around the 9th or 10th round.

castillo is a true warrior...he just had family biz outside of the ring and i think it made all the difference...not to mention all the wars (ie. mayweather, corrales, etc.)
excuses, excuses, Hatton was too young and strong for Castillo

what Hatton hardly went to the body against Collazo thats one of the criticisms aimed at him after the fight

thats why he made a concious effort to go to the body against Castillo because he had been criticised for not doing it against Collazo & Urango

i don't care how hard you are round the body, a punch put in the right place like hatton's with any amount of power is gonna **** you up in some way

its hard to reach a persons body when you are getting a boxing lesson. Collazo would have countered hatton on the way in. and Urango was backing hatton off with body shots.
