Castillio took a dive. just like kellerman said, he found out what the younger man had and wanted no part of it.

Castillo couldnt quit...he never really started.

however i will say the bodypunch was the real deal.

review the punch (if you have a copy of the fight) he was hit squarely on the liver. any fighter will go down if you hit the right spot. hatton hit it.

however even if he hadnt, castillo was mentally in the fight and it was very apparent.

had castillo been on his game hatton may not have had a stoppage at all and if he did it would have been around the 9th or 10th round.

castillo is a true warrior...he just had family biz outside of the ring and i think it made all the difference...not to mention all the wars (ie. mayweather, corrales, etc.)

Not even worth debating Hatton would have beaten a prime Castillo anyway IMO

I don't think Hatton beats the Castillo that was in the ring with Corrales for the first fight. But, that's neither here nor there. I think it was a GREAT punch, and Castillo just doesn't have it in him anymore. Regardless of the money, and all that, you gotta have a reason to get up after a shot liek that. At this point, he hardly gets any money, so even with that, he has nothing to get up for something worse to happen.

i disagree i think Hatton is a tough as Castillo ever was and he is stronger and he is as good inside as Castillo some would argue better he can box if he has to aswell [urango]

Hatton to strong for a prime Castillo IMO
