Does HATTON hit that hard or did Castillo not want to fight?

Well answer the question then.Well, Floyd Mayweather, Jr ruptured Henry Bruseles' intentines. And he gave Sharmba Mitchell kidney failure. Bernard Hopkins broke four of Oscar's ribs.
Because, there's no difference between stopping somebody with a good body shot, and wildly exaggerating the tuth.
Was it a good body shot?
Oh, and who is exaggerating the truth? Don't point that finger at me.Comment

No misrepresentation. You claimed there was evidence.Well, if you don't have anything else to rely on?? Castillo never denied it...at least I've never seen evidence that he did. So, it appears you are just wanting to believe what you want to believe, and not the only evidence that seems to be out there at this time. Objectively, there is some evidence to support the contention, and no evidence to contradict it.
Where is the evidence? What evidence did you see?
Just admit you lied, and we'll move on.Comment

The exaggeration is important because it is a major accusation always leveled at "Team Hatton".
Hatton score nine zillion on the punch-o-meter.
Hatton punched twice as hard as Jaidon on the SPARQ test.
Hatton broke four of Castillo's ribs.
Hatton landed a good shot on Castillo. Like Micky Ward landed on everybody. Like FMJ stopped Bruseles with. Like FMJ stopped Sharmba with. Like Hopkins stopped Oscar with. Like Gatti stopped Dorin with. Ad nauseam. Ad infinitum. Does that make Hatton a better body puncher than any of those other guys?Comment

Well I'm not from Team Hatton. I'm actually very objective. The exaggeration is important because it is a major accusation always leveled at "Team Hatton".

You should definitely remove the Hopkins body shot on De La Hoya. Replace it with Jones on Hill.
Is Hatton a better body puncher than those other fighters you mentioned? Possibly.Comment

Agreed, I think Hatton, because of his style and crowding style would have always given Castillo problems. However, I think the "prime" Castillo that faced Floyd (2x) would have probably beaten Hatton at 140 (although that Castillo was comfortably making 135; well, at least, more comfortably than the Corrales fights).
By the way, the Hatton body shot was VERY good, but I think Castillo felt he was losing, knew he was weak that night, and basically said, "what's the point?"Comment

The point is that had Castillo won that fight, it puts him back on top....that was the "point." You have esp? You assume to know what Castillo was thinking? I just go on facts. I saw a great body shot, much like the body shot by Hopkins on Oscar, and a great fighter went down for the count. That's what I saw. I don't have any idea as to what Castillo was thinking.Agreed, I think Hatton, because of his style and crowding style would have always given Castillo problems. Richie Woodhall had said he wouldn't be surprised if Castillo had a broken rib. Hatton had sent a sparring partner to hospital with broken ribs recently. Nutrition website reported that Hatton had broken two of Castillo ribs.

Hatton suggested that Castillo had maybe broken ribs in response to a question by a reporter in which broken ribs were suggested.
There was circumstantial evidence that Castillo may have suffered broken or at least cracked ribs, but lacking access to Castillo's medical files of course I cannot verify this. Put it this way, it is in Hatton's interest to say that he broke Castillo's ribs because it cements his already fearsome reputation as a ferocious body-puncher, and it's in Castillo's interest to say that he sustained broken ribs because it makes his inability or unwillingness to fight on more understandable to anybody who has never been hit hard in the liver or kidneys.
Either way Hatton knocked him down and out with a vicious and well placed left hook to the body, and whether it broke ribs or not it rendered Castillo unable to stand for a good five minutes after the impact.Comment
