Maybe, I think they did, in a certain sense. But you think that Castillo won, anyway. Almost everyone did. Forget both fights, he didn't lose credibility. He gained it, actually. So, he had the chance, but.. I don't think too much would have changed. I can remember at the time people were hoping to beat Castillo due to what it might prove. His career, wouldn't have changed too drastically.
Poll: Floyd v. Castillo I...who won?

By the way, in terms of a criminal investigation. They had one. And then there was an appeal, and Floyd won the case. Case closed.Comment

Not to Don King. Second of all, if they wanted pride and honor, they WOULDN'T protect the fighters, moron, they'd want them to win and be the best, in the right way. Third of all, if US AMERICANS were doing these things, for those reasons.., Me being an American, wouldn't I atleast have a grasp on what those things are? Jesus.. you're dumb.
That is why Don King ****ed up the HW division and now the Europeans are owning American ass big time.
See the logic dude? Quite sad isn't it.
Without pride and honor and all you have is a mindset of money... YOU GOT NOTHING.
That is different of course when YOU'RE A PERSON WHO DOESN'T VALUE HONOR AND PRIDE so in that case, we shouldn't even be talking. But then again I'm sure you don't have an idea what PRIDE AND DIGNITY MEANS.
Otherwise you wouldn't be arguing with me.
Coz I'm right.Comment

You're keeping this anti-American **** up... so, you get red karma. You don't hear me talking **** about other countries. So, treat me with respect. You're not right, you're blinded by your hatred for Floyd Mayweather. Get over it. You don't know him, personally. Grow up.Comment

I don't think that was a "criminal" investigation, C. A criminal investigation is one conducted by law enforcement...ie...the FBI. Aren't you talking about an internal investigation? Please explain what you know?Comment

If it was a joke, you left out the punchline. The fact is that there most certainly was not a criminal investigation. Boxers appeal (contest) controversial decisions all the time, but 99% of the time nothing happens because a successful outcome is considered bad for boxing.Comment

Put him near Robinson, Hearns, SRL, any other American elite in other eras and he's dead meat.
Yet your country still upholds a coward coz basically you have nobody else.
Maybe Pavlik but too premature.
Face is dude. I'm right.
Right on the bull's eye.
Oh... I could care less about your red K. It takes guts to speak honestly.Comment

Let me further prove how this is a moot point. Floyd had people tell him that he lost. Right? So, he went back and basically erased the doubt from the majorities mind. He had two fights, and even if he officially lost that fight, he still did what he did in the second fight and went on to accomplish what he has, in the same number of fights. Don't say it would have effected other fights, because it did, ANYWAY. He still gets rushed, because people think it's the solution, and he's won every other fight.
On the other hand. Most thought Castillo GAINED from the 2 fight series, regardless of the outcome of EITHER fight. He gained respect and notice, and he actually GOT bigger fights because of those losses. So, he really wasn't hurt. He fought Casamayor, Floyd (twice), Hatton, Corrales (twice) in his career. That's the career of a very good fighter. He wasn't hurt, he was helped, if anything, in my opinion. It's not even an issue, when you think about it, in all honesty.Comment
