Punch stats are invalid either way.

The point is, Oscar's rallies were missing 85% of the punches thrown, maybe even higher. That and Floyd was direct with his shots that won him the fight.

People shouldn't go by punch stat numbers at all.

And for the record, even though I already said it earlier in the thread, I had it 115-113 for Floyd. Could of easily seen 116-112 too. Not so much on 117-111 or higher...

So how do you score a fight besides who lands the cleaner harder shots?

Does ring generalship include elbows to the throat? Just curious.

Does Ring Generalship include excessive holding?

Though it depends on the situation. I guess.

                  rd 2 - Floyd

rd 8 - Castillo he lost a point
rd 9 - Floyd (should have lost a point for hitting after the bell)
rd 10- Castillo Floyd loses a point, if you think this was Floyd's best round of the fight then you must REALLY think Floyd lost.
                  rd 11- Close
                  rd 12- Close

The two points that were deducted cancel each other out. Giving Castillo just ONE of the THREE rounds that were too close to call wins him the fight.
Giving him NONE of those three rounds gives him a draw, he retains his championship belt.

Floyd owes his "0" to three very ignorant(and probably now very rich) judges that night.
I watched the fight kid.........it was a close fight and I had Floyd winning. You think otherwise fine.

I tried changing the first line. Anyway, you didn't have Casamayor winning his last fight by any chance?
