    He didn't help promote a good image for the sport that's for sure.

    But if you look at the circumstances that Mike grew up in, I have some epiphany for the guy. No one bothered to instill any values in the guy.

      Imagine boxing if there was never a Tyson, he is such an important part of the sports history

          He did a lot of bad things to the sport, but they are far outweighed by the good things he did.

            The answer is, quite obviously, yes. Anyone who thinks that it is acceptable to bite an opponent's ear during a fight or to conduct themselves the way Tyson did outside the ring needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

                  Mike Tyson brought a lot of people to the sport of boxing. Was there a more exciting athlete in the world than Tyson in the mid 80's?

                    Tyson has brought shame on himself a few times, but he was good for boxing in general.
