    Why All The Mayweather Hate?

Seriously though? Ive been this board for a very long time and there has always been hate for Floyd but now its like that times 10. I mean you see a bunch of threads about it and its way more vicious then it use to be. When you read it you can actually see all the venom from people. I mean they really really have made hatred for him and I was just wondering whats the deal? Every fighter has fans and non fans but its been a long time since a guy has been ripped like this. Again, what I really want to know is what changed from people hating Floyd to people really really really hating him?

If youve been on this boad for awhile then you know what Im talking about. There was always hate but nothing like this. Its to the point now where I dont even think people can judge rounds in his fight fairly because he is hated so much and they would probally give all the close rounds to the opponent no matter what. They will be looking to take rounds from Floyd. He has to totally dominate it or it will look bad on him.

Thats besides the point though. What changed? Was it the fact that he beat Oscar that just took people over the edge? or is it that combined with him now fighting Hatton? The fans are similar to the media. They changed also. A ton of the media has always hated Floyd also but then it changed to pure despise for him. It also maybe has to do with the fact that he retired or will soon retire again. I think it might be because he's getting older now and they know that he doesnt have many more chances to lose before he hangs the gloves up. I dont mean this thread as a joke or anything. I really want to know what put you over the edge. Even the people on here that hated Floyd, never hated him like this. Now they just cant stand him at all.

Its funny because I was thinking the other day about what if Floyd & Shane won and fought eachother. Even though alot of people wanted to see that fight at 1st, I think he would be totally ripped for making that fight. They would say that now he is trying to fight a old past his prime guy. Nevermind the fact that Shane has just been killing guys again. Nevermind the fact that he had just beat Cotto who everyone was bragging on, he all of assudden becomes not good enough to fight Floyd. Its kind of like ripping Floyd for fighting Zab after the Baldy loss and not giving him credit for it but then turning Cotto into a God for beating Zab even after all that had happened and he was suspended for a year. He wouldve had to look like a beast to beat Cotto but people would make it out to be a bad thing because its Floyd even though right now there making Cotto out to be a tough guy for fighting him. I almost hope the scenerio doesnt play out now because Floyd would be toast on this board and in the media even though Shane just beat the young lion, Margarito has already looked average in his previous fights, and Williams only has 1 good win

i dont know why either.....i think that even if Floyd was perfect they would still dig up something to hate on him about. those haters have to hate on something. but at the end of the day, he is still pound for pound king and a 5 division world champ.

I want to see the faces of the mayweather haters when hatton is slowly being picked apart on Dec.8th!
I think this sums up the reason for the Mayweather hate.

It's a little like the Yankees. Manchester United. Indianapolis Colts. It's a team which has a considerable number of vocal fans who are fans because the team is winning. They don't like watching their team, they like boasting about how good their team is. And those fans disgust me.

This is one thing that gets under my skin.
In 2 of the divisions he didn't fight the real champs.

Yeah Floyd is a three division champ and a five division world titleholder. Just as Hatton is a legit champ at one weight and a titleholder at another. I make the distinction with everyone.

If there's smoke there's fire. People dont just hate for no reason.

                People hate John Ruiz.

                People hate Kim Jong Il.

                People hate Osama Bin Laden.

                People hate politicians.

                All for valid reasons.

This is what i posted about a week ago on a similar thread:

I dislike him because he has become all bark and no bite. He talks about how he is going to get in the ring and whoop so and so's ass, then ends up fighting as if he doesnt wanna break a damn nail. If thats the type of fighter you are, then cool, just say it. Just dont go around acting like your some sort of killer, when in fact, your a passive/safety-first fighter who would rather cruise to a safe points victory, as oppose to utilizing your full potential and closing the show in impressive fashion, all the while giving your fans thier money's worth.

His behavior when in front of the camera's is quite embarrasing. Why does he feel the need to count money during press conferences??? Typical case of "im rich and dont know how to act" There are plenty of past and present millionaires in the sport, yet u dont see any of them acting like a complete ass the way Floyd does. I remember during an interview with Brian Kenny, Brian asked Floyd a question that he felt uncomfortable with, and Floyd responds with something along the lines of "Brian, i make millions. What do u make? I make more in one night than you would in your whole career" LOL. The question had absolutely NOTHING to do with money, yet Floyd feels the need to use his financial status to defend himself. His fanclub, also known as the "Floydboyz" would say that its all an act. Thats bull****! The Floyd that we see on camera, is the real Floyd Mayweather. A brash, classless, insecure man
