It does look like HBO gets the nod so far! HBO guys have been together for a long time and have covered a ton of fights together! Showtime also is a kick-ass Boxing network. The 'Classy' Jimmy Lennon Jr is also an excellent ring announcer, "Okay fans here we go..." The Best Damn Sports Show Period also made a foray into Boxing. These guys seem to be more jovial about Boxing but however did a very good job showing Toney v Booker and Jirov v Moorer.

I like HBO as well just because I've been watching Boxing on the network since I was little, but Showtime definitely has good fights. HBO is the best in the end it has the bigger fights and with the Lamps in company it always seems like a big fight.

I gotta go with HBO. I love listening to Lampley,Merchant,Steward, and Lederman. They also have a better fighter roster.

He'll turn up the volume with his 'ATTENTION' especially in the twelfth round, and if the fight's a close one! The Ledster then will give his scorecard i.e. 105-103 then the amounts of rounds each fighter has won! Then he'l say "Jim I gotta tell ya..." He is a classic!

LOL! I can't remember if it was on this forum or another somebody actually thought the Ledster was smoking crack with the way he carries on like a 'Blue Assed Fly' with his unofficial scorecard! The Ledster is the last of the Old School commentators!

HBo, for basically the reasons mentioned above.
