I guess we'll agree to disagree... a win is a win, regardless of whether it is a first round KO, or a 12 round 2 point decision win.

I personally would be kind of angry if Pacquiao fought someone like Wayne McCullough, and went all out on his chin, the whole match. I mean, what is the ****ing point? Pacquiao is not going to knock McCullough out, so what is the point of unloading bomb after bomb when it is not making an impact?

What is the point of Floyd unloading the USSR's whole nuclear arsenal on Baldomir's chin? It's not going to dent him, at all, so what is the ****ing point?

Alternatively, what is the point of trying to dominate every round against De La Hoya? De La Hoya was big enough to hurt Floyd, so every time Mayweather opened up against De La Hoya, he was providing Oscar with a terrific countering opportunity that could have made Floyd lose the fight.

I wouldn't expect Pacquiao to go toe-to-toe with someone like Vivian Harris or Ricky Hatton... because that is two weight classes above where he probably should be, just like Floyd, when he was fighting against Oscar.

i meant he does not have one punch power. and hatton has decent pop in his punches, i never seen him just knock someone out with one punch. and the castillio fight does not count that was BS. floyd can take anything hatton has to dish out as long as he stays off the ropes. floyd tends to lean against the ropes sometimes.

It was definately not BS. Ricky put a perfect body punch into the side of Castillo... Castillo being run down had **** to do with that, it was all Ricky's power. The only thing that made it easier for that to happen was Jose Luis had absolutely no balance that whole fight, meaning that it was easier for Ricky to connect, but Ricky threw a perfect body shot. I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with robbing fighters of their glory for their victories.

Castillo was a shot item when he fought Hatton.

Hatton fought the fight of his life (which turned out to be total overkill).

So who cares? Hatton didn't play down to the level of his opposition and put forth a ****ty performance, he did exactly what he should have.

Congratulations to Hatton.
