Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods had mainstream appeal. Mayweather has urban appeal your grasping at straws. And I'm not a Mayweather fan in fact I don't really like him. But I also am mature enough not to let that cloud my judgement in terms of appreciating his talent. I have been watching boxing for over 25 years. Mayweather's talent ranks among the best ever. But notice I said his talent and not him as a fighter. We have to wait until his career is over before we can assess his place in boxing history. Also who would you like to see him fight before you give him credit? Personally I think Paul Williams would give him fits and go on to beat him by UD.

We dont have to go far. Let's check the current p4p king's opponents:

                Pac TKO11 MAB
Pac UD JMM (if not for scoring error)
                Pac KO11 Morales
                Pac KO3 Morales
                Pac UD12 MAB.

In short, Pac has DOMINATED hall-of-famers 5 TIMES in just a couple of years, in addition to KOing undefeated young fighters like Solis.

You like Winky Wright? If so describe the asthetic appeal of his style of boxing. Is it exciting? All those boring UD's have earned him a spot in the HOA.

Why would I like boring-ass losers like Winky Wright, Floyd Mayweather and Bernard Hopkins when you have elite and exciting KO artists like Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales fighting their guts out there? Are you out of your freaking mind?
