No way in hell does Hopkins stop Pavlik who is a big boy which Borenard will hate.
He prefers to pick on smaller guys with less power.
The Hopkins Hype machine has been one of the best in history.
Hype machine? did that machine make him champion for 10 years, with over 20 defenses? or was that boxing skill? He is an all time great, and will go down in history as one of the greatest middle weights of all time. Maybe some people dont like his style because it doesnt tend to be exciting, but hell, i dont remember anyone calling any of his wins into question.

Hopkins is way too clever for Pavlik. Pavlik is a good young fighter with mad power and a good heart but let's not get carried away.

              pavlik KOing hopkins is laughable.

              laughable.

i would pick hopkins to decision kelly and probably cut him up with his head too. another ugly as **** win for bernard- and i'd be entertained to see it.

Too early to make this thread; Pavlik hasn't beaten Taylor for a second time yet and we don't know how good or bad he'll look in the rematch...

His greatest wins are against two blown-up middleweights, that's it.

I'm a believer in what Hopkins said, that JT fought a weight drained version of the one we see today after Tarver and Wright. ****, he had Winky sucking wind after the 10th while he maintained a busy punching pace throughout that fight (boo to you all who didn't like that one, Hops kept busy, I had to keep up trying to score that chess battle). A Winky Wright Taylor looked inferior to. The LH Hopkins that fought Tarver and Wright beats JT given the energy difference clearly displayed fighting at his natural weight.

The only knock now is age. I wouldn't favor Pavlik in this fight if it looked like it were going the distance though. Even old Bhop can negate all of your strengths with his ring smarts.
