Nevermind...
118-110 (Harold ****ing Lederman, why was he allowed to be an official judge?)
120-108
119-109
Those are some damn wide scores. What a bunch of bull****.
120-108... and he landed more punches total in the fight. Let me do some quick math... uhhh, yeah, he had to at least outland Nunn in one round. What a bunch of ****ing bull****.Comment

I was shocked that you kept your cool. I would have been irate.
Listen, simple mathematics tell us that if you outland Michael Nunn in the fight, you for sure outlanded him in at least one round... meaning that it would be pretty damn hard to score the fight 120-108 against you.
You are a hell of a classy guy Iceman.Comment

Thanks a lot, my man. Really... it was a thing where you can watch my face on TV and when I heard the reading of the first scorecard I thought to myself. "Well, They got me." You can even see me kind of half smile. I mean, what could I do at that point? Sometimes in the fight I thought I was winning, sometimes I didn't know what to think. He never ever ever hurt me or stung me in the least and I know I hurt him because I saw it and felt it and Al Bernstein reassured me because I could literally hear him at ringside right behind me saying, "Oh! Michael Nunn was hurt with that shot!!" Many also may have thought he was doing damage with all the punches he threw but I promise you I was blocking most of them, a very high percentage of them. My defense was air tight that night. I have to admit, though, that it may have worked against me in a certain way because I got very comfortable with it and I probably allowed Michael to work a lot more than I should have. This is not even to really argue that I got "robbed" so to speak. Maybe I did, maybe not, but those scorecards...that was really something, you know? He was next in line to face RJ and in my eyes they made sure that potential scenario was kept alive.I was shocked that you kept your cool. I would have been irate.

Agreed man. You do a lot of turtling and you werent nearly as active as you could of been. But that could of opened up counters for Nunn to exploit.
That was a good fight though.Comment

Nunn was the one looking desperate and panicky. I can see exactly what you're saying. He was throwing arm punches and you were nailing him with great shots. Those judges were TRIPPIN. That was clean effective punching all day! Effective aggressiveness 100%. Generalship!
You were the stronger looking fighter by far.

I definitely felt that way. In the last two roundsI have read accounts where people said he outboxed me but in my opinion I ran him right out of the ring. I pursued him CONSTANTLY for the 11th and 12th as he backpedaled and threw a lot of punches that were thrown BECAUSE I was on him like I was. He threw them hoping to keep me away, not totry and win and not because he wanted to really finish strong. That's how I saw it. It was a good fight, either way. All things considered, I was satisfied in many waysComment
