    Yea I know what you mean, I come from a poor country, and my cousin is an amateur boxer. He has been the country's champ in his division for over 6 years. He got offers from Belgium, Italy and other countries including USA to go pro. He couldn't go to any of them because my country wouldn't let him for some crap reasons. Just the way it is.

      Not always.....& certainly not the advantage(s) that maturity, strength, & seasoning are. That's the point of what I am saying. In no way am I claiming that Savon wasn't a fantastic fighter, because he was great. But, I guarantee the success he had in the amateurs doesn't translate into similar professional success.
