Hatton is humble and will accept defeat (should it come) with dignity, after all its only one fight!
Will Ricky Hatton face his fans after losing?

That's a bit longwinded post. As I said.....mayorga and Tyson are not smart businessmen. They do things for attention but there is no plan behind it. Hopkins, jones, mayweather are different. Those guys talks numbers and purse splits....not these guys.I'm giving Tyson and Mayorga credit for the BUSINESS side of things not the actual fight, they could get their asses kicked from here to spain or kick ass themselves it really doesn't matter, I was referring to the promotion aspect of it like the way Bernard did with Winky, B-Hop mushed Winky to stir some **** up and generate more revenue, he did everything possible BEFORE the fight so that AFTER the fight he could walk away with the most money, the outcome of the ACTUAL fight at that point doesn't affect the pay day, maybe it can decrease or increase a fighters pay days in the future but for that ONE fight he gets paid..
I think Tyson is a ***** and even if he is just promoting I could care less. This isn't fake wrestling. If everything these guys say is fake then what's the point of watching? I don't think it was fake......it's just they talk out of their asses and when they can't back it up they backpaddle. Nothing else to it. Let's leave it at that.Comment

I dont thinkhe loses the fight actually but if he duz he'll face his fans and they'll luv him just the same - Hatton has the best fans on the planet! As many of you have noticed, HBO has put the post-fight interview's with Larry Merchant on speakers so the crowd can hear what the fighters are saying after the fight unlike before where only TV land would get to hear the interviews.
So the question is, will Ricky Hatton face all of his fans from Manchaster and stick around for the interview or will he like Taylor tuck his tail between his legs and leave the arena and answer questions backstage?
He has been almost guaranteeing victory lately.....it seems like it would make it hard to face the crowd after a beatdown after all that....specially when you got the towel that your corner threw in on your head covering up your bruises.Comment

the point of watching is that it's entertaining to people to SEE a fight especially with two fighters who talk a lot of ****, be honest would you have enjoyed Lennox's KO over Tyson as much had Tyson not talked so much **** to him? sure you as a boxing fan would enjoy it but if you picked Lennox or are a Lennox fan and you see Mike doing what he was doing you would be thirst to see Lennox **** him up right, you'll tune in to see it live just to get that kick out of it, either way you watching ya feel me.. Tyson has always been the type of guy to talk major **** then when he nearly kills the guys he rushes to them and helps them up, other times he doesn't but he picked the right times to do outrageous **** knowing the buzz it will create, it will keep that raw Tyson image alive but when those moments came to show his real feelings he showed love because thats what it was all along..That's a bit longwinded post. As I said.....mayorga and Tyson are not smart businessmen. They do things for attention but there is no plan behind it. Hopkins, jones, mayweather are different. Those guys talks numbers and purse splits....not these guys.

let me ask you this, if you were a world champion who is fighting the best on the regular yet you don't credited for it in terms of the spot light, the respect that Vernon Forrest deserved and didn't get until he dethroned the top dog, wouldn't you talk some **** to increase your revenue, regardless wouldn't you talk a little **** and put aside the respect factor until after the fight so you could BOTH get more bread? you would be a **** not to because it was never nothing personal, these guys aren't out to kill each other they just try to win and make as much money as possible.. if I'm trying to convince you there's beef by dissing my opponent I'm not going to show any indications of the respect I have for him, that **** doesn't sell tickets and nowadays Boxing is like a business 1st and THEN a sport, no fight will ever step into the ring 1st and THEN negotiate the bread homie, if the money ain't right then there ain't no fight so it's the money that determines these fighters accepting these bouts so why not put aside your respectful feelings and talk some ****? you'll get more money because there will be more hype surrounding you, it's called being smart dogz.. 100Comment

There's a big word "IF" that is sadly missing from the question. Without that word this is a wind-up thread. With it it becomes a reasonable question. So what was your intention? Were you genuinely interested in what Hatton's response would be or were you simply trolling for a reaction from the "brit f.ags"?Comment

Shut up you midget. You're one of the top three most ignorant posters on this site. You're right. I should have wrote a thread from a Promoter's perspective. Something like: "This is a great clash of styles between two great fighters. It's the recognized jr.welterweight champion vs the recognized welterweight champion. Neither one has been defeated yet. Somebody's 0 has to go between these two top p4p greats" blah blah.
I have put some thought into this since the interviews are being heard by the crowd in the arena as well as opposed to in the old days when the people watching on TV only see what the fighters are saying. Taylor ran off after he lose SO it's not inconceivable to think that Hatton might do the same.Comment
