    chuck giampa........had taylor beating winky, had barrera beating morales in the second fight, had johnson beating tarver in the first fight,had jones beating barrera in the second fight,AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HAD CHAVEZ BEATING TAYLOR IN THE FIRST FIGHT!!!!!!........worst judge to give a close fight to....

      duane ford is horrible.. i remember watchin some fight on hbo replay and this doode was giving the majority of rounds to the lesser fighter.. i dont remember the fight or fighters.. but i was like god damn. this and the hopkins fight proves it..

      u can also see how he judges on boxrec.com.. this guy must have vision impairment.. rediculous

        Jerry Roth is the one that sticks out in my mind as having weird, renegade scorecards in close fights.

        Yeah, Ford had round 12 for Taylor in the first Hopkins fight, but he had the right overall score, he just gave Hopkins a round he shouldn't have gotten earlier. Taylor won 7-5, and neither fight was really hard to score, regardless of the varying opinions you read. Both fights were 7-5 wins for Taylor. Roth had Hopkins winning 8-4, which is far worse, to me, than giving round 12 to Taylor. To score it 8-4 for Hopkins you'd have to give him 3 early rounds where he barely even threw a punch. Roth has a history of wacky scorecards, like the DLH-Trinidad one, of course. If you go through that one, round by round, you'll really see he shouldn't be judging fights.
