Honestly? I give hatton about as much credit for castillo as I give PBF for Sharmba or Gatti.
Yeah, good name. But....
And hindsight is a wonderful thing. Hindsight is a useful tool. In my line of business, we do post-mortems on all the promotions to improve decision-making on future events.
Similarly, I think it is fair to say that the reason that castillo looked so ****ty against Reyes and Ngoudjo is not because he "fought down to the level of his competition"...but because he didn't have much left.
Is that fair?Comment

Yes Hatton should get credit for the win, all fighters should get credit for wins. Its just how much credit should he get for that win. Should he get the same amount of credit for beating Castillo that he got for beating Urango?Comment

The editor of British Boxing News, Juan Lazacano, Paul Williams, Kendall Holt, Joe Calzaghe, Steve Farhood, Teddy Atlas, and others (I will think of) have:
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Amir Khan, Danny Williams and Clinton Woods all have:
Ricky Hatton (if I remember correctly)Comment
