Though you might miss some all-time greats on Kessler's résumé, those who seen all of his fights knows what Calzaghe is in for.
The way Kessler deals with his opposition leaves no doubt Kessler is one or more leves above the ordinary top smw's. Besides the Aussie fight, where he lost a few rounds suffering from an injury, he's only lost one or two besides that.

Calzaghe would be without a chance unless he fights more than one level above the rest. Many of his big victories weren’t that secure, nothing suggests he was levels above the guys who knocked him down, or gave him close decisions. Besides Calzaghe being great in the Lacy fight, Lacy did help him along by standing still and receiving.

Confidence is necessary for a pressure fighter. I’m happy he believes he can force his style on Calzaghe.

12 Days to go.. We are almost at the time when Kessler leaves for his final preparations/press in Cardiff. No injury claims from either fighter... This is going to be great.

This slappy **** has to stop. He has a pretty good KO ratio, and busted up a pretty good chinned Jeff Lacy. Ever seen Lacy that busted up?.. Remember, Lacy has ALWAYS been a guy that can be hit. Never looked that bad.

1200 punches landed with no ko is a lot of slappin. Not only clean hard ounches cuts you up- far from. Judge a boxer by the amount of blood he spills. LoL

This fight should be awesome. While everyone is squacking about the Mayweather vs Hatton fight I think this is the fight to watch if you're waiting to see a real barn burner. I favor Calzaghe a little in this one only because I've seen him more and was so impressed with his utter destruction of Lacy. Kessler I've only seen once but was really inpressed with him also. Now this is one fight I'd pay to see and take my hat off to both fighters because they're willing to face each other in their prime which is a rare thing now days in boxing. This fight is good for boxing no matter who wins.

                      erm, why?

you cant criticise calzaghe for not travellin to the us and then say its acceptable for jones and hopkins to refuse to come to britain. calzaghe is champ, its his right to defend it where he wants to. the uk is the home of boxing, weve got the best fans, calzaghe can sell out 70,000 stadiums that dwarf all the famous yank venues so why is it expecetd that he should go to the states. no ones callin mayweather a ***got for makin hatton fight him in the states are they?
