This just secures the fact that his retirement was a publicity stunt.

Either Williams, Cintron, Margarito, or Berto will be a good fight for him within the next two years. Much better than a fight with Kostya.

I don't rule out Cory Spinks either as long as he can put up a good win streak at 154.

On more than one occasion he has talked about fighting Mosley and beating on Cotto. Some people talk about his next fight after Hatton and say "unless he retires like a *****". Those were the ones Kball. Quick question, what was so funny about that guy portraying blackface?

after hatton would be a great time to get out, there will always be a cotto, williams, if he beats them there will only be a new generation calling pbf out and eventually if he carries on he will be beaten. i think floyds approaching an age where his reflexes and speed will start to fade, if he retired now he would have his faculties, millions in the bank and looks untouched, a great advert for the sport

He won't leave until most of the questions are answered. I think 5 fights would be more than enough to do so. Mosley, Cotto, Hatton, winner of Cintron/Williams/Margarito, and a rematch in one of those would be more than enough leave all questions answered. If you can't tell I am amped to even hear this news.

it would take at least 3 years to get thru that list of opponents by which time pbf would be well past his best (he is already) y risk it? he beat hrnandez a year after goin pro and 4 the wbc and beat a list of world class opponents since (a few no hopers in between granted) he should go after hatton. undefeated.

He would never hear the end of it if he retired. He might not have the reflexes he once had but he has the technical ability to allow him to claim victory even when he is far past his best. He will fight 2 fights a year from now on and in 2 and 1/2 years all the talk can be settled and he can STILL be undefeated by that time.

I do not belive that Floyd will fight until 35.

You may see 3-5 fights from Floyd. They will all be money fights.

PBF won't fight "for competition". He will fight Hatton and Mosley/Cotto. And then the biggest purses out there - regardless of who they are.
