I mean Pavlik is a very good tough fighter, but he is not the fastest... the reason he could hit Jermain Taylor was, because he's rangy of course, and JT has a bad defense IMO... Sturm has a good defense, and is faster than Pavlik... I mean Griffin speed wise wasn't in his level... the thing that bothers me, is his lack of power... because if you can't keep some1 away from you, than he catches up with you... that's the reason why I see, maybe a KO in the moment for Pavlik somewhere about the 9th round... but you shouldn't forget, that Storm has heart too, yes he was knocked out, but he came up after the first knockdown against Castillejo, where not every1 would have gotten up, and then he fought for 8 more rounds, and then he got caught again... so I think he has a solid chin... and if he improves his power, he could handle Pavlik... but at the moment I'll see Pavlik winning, but not in a destroying kind of way...

Also have to say... that I thought JT had to win against Pavlik... and still do... and I think many people around Pavlik know, because they going to put im against someone else... Pavlik got lucky a bit I think... because JT is not that smart at times... but in a rematch he's going to beat him... so for me really the King in Middleweight is still JT, and if he fights Pavlik again, he will take back his titles, I'm rest of sure... and to put Pavlik against Duddy well... it's ok, and nothing against Duddy... but JT won against Hopkins, fought him again, and then Winky... so I think even so JT never has, maybe never will live up to his potential, you can't say, he fought weak competition... nothing against Duddy, but I think a rematch should be happen... you can fight Duddy later
pavlik kos jermain again , the only reason why he got dropped , is because he didnt respect jermains power, and showbooted a little bit, and took lik6-7 flush shots. his hands were down with all the punches

I didn't think the fight was THAT close. I agree with the judge that scored the fight 117-114 for Griffin. The judges that scored it 114-114 and 115-114 for Sturm must have been influenced by the pro-Sturm crowd or something... And I say this not as a Griffin fan, but as a boxing fan.

And Sturm reacted like he thought he lost BEFORE the decision was announced, immediately after the fight. There was a stark difference between the two camps after the fight. Sturm and his camp seemed very down while Griffin's camp Jubilated.

I too feel that Griffin got robbed. The pace was set and maintained throughout the whole fight by Griffin. I understand alot of the even rounds, because Griffin was not landing cleanly much, but Sturm was hardly throwing. Sturm tried to brawl more than he normally does, and he was getting out brawled by a better brawler.

don't know had already though the same think, but i don't know if he could lose more weight it seems he is a natural middleweight even if he doesn't punch very hard. But if he could he would dominate the 154 pound division. I thinks he is the technicaly most skilled fighter of the division, but his lack of power will prevent him of being a domiant middleweight. but i like his style in the firstpart of the fight especially in the 3th round it was masterfull, but then he got stamina problems and griffin stayed busy

Man come on, you can not use the word robbed when i fight was that close. I'm a sturm fan, but if he would robbe griffin i would admit it. the fight was a good draw.

I had Griffin up by two, but a lot of the rounds were pretty close.

I don't think he can make 154, last night he came in bigger than ever.
