Darchinyan Stops Catubay, Plans 12/1 Return

Vic Darchinyan (29-1, 23KOs) wanted a tough Filipino opponent in his first bout since being knocked out by Nonito Doniare in July. He got more than he expected at the Auburn RSL Club in Auburn Australia, stopping Frederico Catubay (20-14-3, 11KOs) in the twelfth and final round to capture the vacant IBO super flyweight title. No, its not, they just had a title fight involving a fighter coming off a devestating knockout loss and a fighter who has 14 losses....

Vic should keep fighting people like this. but if he steps in there with somebody who can counterpunch, hes going to be in trouble again. maybe knocked out again. he needs to tighten up his defense.

Catubay was in the fight of his life... I expected Darhinyan to have a really tough time. You can't count out fighters who are given this type of shot... Darch is a good fighter who fought a really really hungry fighter... I would not let his perfomance here count him out..

Anyway.....Catubay was expected to lose on Vic's comeback fght since his devastating loss. I didn't expect it to last 12 rounds.

Why do you hate Vic so much. Is it because he left a third world country and made it for himself in a ********ic country where he has access to water.
