Let's see Darchinyan in with a credible opposition before jumping on any bandwagons. Darchinyan is in the same boat as Edison Miranda, one-dimensional sluggers who found out the hard way that some people can take your best punches and give it right back.

Whatever glaring shortcomings were put on exhibit by Nonito Donaire's left hooks still exist, beating 20-13 journeymen will not cure a lack of creativity. I think the book is out and in high circulation on how to beat Darchinyan. At 115, Darchinyan will have to avoid Donaire and Cristian Mijares. Those guys have his number.

What Darchinyan needs is stiffs to help raise his confidence so that when he is faced with adversity again, he will atleast have the assurance to cope with it.

About the idea that Darchinyan is a champ at 115, that's BS. If getting knocked out at a lower weight in your last fight is how you qualify for an IBO title fight, then they owned themselves. It's a bootleg regional title.

I've never heard of Catubay, but if Darchinyan is interested in 115 pound Pinoys, Z Gorres would be a good challenge when Vic is ready to step up again.
