Bute - Berrio round by round

Round 5

Fairly cautious opening, now berrio is on the defensive. Berrio back on the attack, , WOW big left from Bute stuns berrio but Berrio is roght back at him. Bute's defence really frustrating Berrio, making him lean with his punches, and opening him up. Another round for Bute.

Interestingly the commentators gave the last round to Berrio.

Round 6

Starts with a clinch. Hard right from berrio leading to another clinch. Berrio turned southpaw briefly. Another big right from Berrio, bute comes back with an uppercut. Berrio following bute around the ring instead of cutting him off. Berrio now feinting and landing, boxing more. Hard left from bute for the end of the round but this one is 10-9 berrio. There was a brief interlude where the ref stopped the action but I didn't see what the deal was.

The time moves quick when you're doing this!

It's now round 7 somehow...

Berrio ducking pucnhes, lands a left to the body and another. It's becoming a fight now. Berrio is looking soehwat discouraged. No sting on his punches. Short crisp combinations from Bute, big looping right misses from Berrio. Berrio ineffective and weakening, Bute looking stronger.

OK I got my rounds sorted! Round 8

Berrio looking more cautious this round. Ships a couple of glancing blows. Big punch lands for Berrio, Bute showboats then clinches. Nice left hook to the body by Berrio. Two punches land for Bute. Anod another. Berrio looking tired, bute senses something and goes on the attack. Fast counters from Bute. Bute misses the home run shot, Berrio wins the first two minutes of this round, and gets 10-9 on the round itself.

eight is for bute too he kept retreating and clinching when berrio got close but showed some balls at the end and landed some nice shots berrio looking fatigued

As we go into Round 9 I would like to mention that water with lime in it is really nice.

Berrio slips to the canvas, obviously no knockdown. Berrio lands one, not much on it. Three big shots drom bute. One a bit low from Bute followed by a shot to the head. Berrio lands twice. Bute turns berrio nicely. Bute climching a lot now, but still looks the fresher. Bute looks to trade but gets caught. Bute's round by a nose.

Round 10 - will Bute go for the knockout? He's shown some signs of aggression, what's going to happen here?

Bute more aggressive now, throwing obviously bigger punches. Berrio on the attack but he's still getting pot-shotted. Berrio coming forward but still too slow, catches bute with a nice right but no effect. Berrio caught bu a big left to the body. Two punch combo lands for bute. Bute punctuates the round with a big one-two. Bute wins the round.

Berrio is telegraphing his punches, following his opponent around instead of cutting off the ring and Bute is making him look amateur.
