    they probably do ,but it wouldnt work as well. Neither guy is known in the US, and people dont tune in to just anything. they have to recognize a name...

    Mayweather is a superstar, and if he continues fighting he will only get bigger and bigger.

    Pavlik, and other US stars could eventually get that treatment in the US, both for others that arent as well known it doesnt work

    EDIT: AND its ****** because you'd be selling the fight to an audience that would already be tuning in.... AND its free so ur not comvincing them to BUY anything... just bad busniess

      Isn't that the whole point of a 24/7? If viewers see HBO doing a 24/7, knowing how in-depth it is, wouldn't you think that would translate as, "Wow, if HBO thinks both these guys are worth doing a 24/7 for, they must be good"?

      And who cares whether its free tv or PPV.... if you can make stars out of Kessler or Calzaghe now, you can market them better for when one or both continues on to a future PPV... you gotta look at the big picture, which HBO FAILS MISERABLY to do as far as boxing goes, consistantly...
