      No it's not.
It is the wrong fight. And you know it.

I like you, Kelz. But you picked the 12th best fight out there. Without putting much effort into trying to make a BETTER fight happen.

Some people think Duddy is the heir apparent. This would be his chance to ascend to the throne.

I like John Duddy a lot and I KNOW he's no easy task for anyone yo the guy can fight, he's tall in Kelly Pavlik's range, he's a slugger when he needs to be and he does have KO power too. Kelly just fought a string of people who were highly regarded, he dethroned the Middleweight Champion and before that he eliminated what MOST considered to be the biggest up and coming threat in Edison Miranda, he fought 2 tough fights and people want him to continue down that route, people want to see him face this undefeated guy and that undefeated guy and do this or do that when they don't actually consider that Duddy is not easy, Duddy can take a good punch yo believe it..

as I have stated in prior posts I don't think Duddy will win but I do think he wont go down easy, this fight would be good for Pavlik because thats another recognizeable name on his resume, a win over John Duddy then lets say Arthur Abraham then Alan Greene then Taylor again and so on and so fourth but I don't see nothing wrong with him toning it down a bit in terms of calibur opponents and fighting Duddy because Duddy is an undefeated fighter in his own right, knocked out 16 out of 21 people and is just a beast too..

people are counting Duddy out and sucking they teeth but they don't consider the kind of all out action type fight these 2 guys can produce, I feel Kelly will win impressively but I bet all my points for as long as I ever post on here that it will be a off your seat kind of fight and these 2 will deliver, this fight is great for boxing and I want to see it happen, I have stated in prior posts I wish Duddy would have had more fights before getting a shot but thinking it over I realize sometimes you have to take it when it's there..

a win over Pavlik will skyrocket Duddy to mega star quality in boxing, sometimes a risk pays off just look at Jermain Taylor and B-Hop ya dig, anything is possible and I guess for Duddy it's best to take it while it's in your hand and for Pavlik he faces a worthy opponent, undefeated and fights his kind of fight so Pavlik can look good winning, it's a good look for boxing period but Jermain should definitely get his rematch before anything, I agree with Pavlik though this fight would add some juice to boxing especially if done in New York or Youngstown.. 100

so he should just sit around for 9 monthesor a year waiting for bernard hopkins, Joe Calzaghe, Mikkel Kessler, Winky Wright, Authur Abraham,Jermaine Taylor instead of staying active fighting a game deserving challenger to the middleweight title? **** off with that. And the p4p club business model that's killing boxing.

But let's say that he is....

Pavlik earned his way to the title shot and did the most with it. What has J-Dud done to earn a title shot?

                    How tall is Duddy?

He's listed at 5'11 which is usually 5'10.
