I'd say Shane Mosley, Cotto, or Paul Williams.

We can go as far back as Gatti and trace the exact same sentiment and wishful thinking. Irrationality over takes the mind of those that want to see Floyd lose, to the point where folx were basically praying that he'd lose to Gatti and actually gave him (Gatti) a decent chance. We all know what happened. Skipping Sharmba, the same applies to Judah. People hated Floyd so much, that I remember comments stating that they actually hated both fighters, but to go with the lesser of the two evils, they picked Judah as their favorite to win. Of course Floyd ****ted on him also, and Baldomir was the new hope. Floyd again fights Baldy, and wins an easy decision without a scratch on his face. De la Hoya turned into a nonsense race battle in some (not all) sectors, emotions were so high. People wanted so bad for the guy to lose, claiming also that De La Hoya was just too big, too strong, jab is too precise, too imposing, and too big of a star for Mayweather to overcome. Once more, the pretty boy comes out on top. So my question now is, since obviously the exact same pattern emerges with Ricky Hatton, when Floyd beats him decisively like most expect him to do, who's the next fighter that Floyd bashers are going to lean on? I'd just like to know now for future reference. Is it the Cotto/Mosley winner, is it Paul Williams or Cintron, is it Kelly Pavlik? Grasping at straws is so common with the anti-Floyd crusaders, that I just felt compelled to ask.
i don't think it has anything to do with race for MOST. i just wnat anyone to beat floyld because of his attitude. i mean i know i wouldn't like anyone like him in my life, and would smile if their ego was dampened. hatton is a good guy, he seems genuine to me. he grew up from an council house which is proably like a free housing estate in the us. he's humble and appreciates what he has got. he's bought a house for his mum and dad near him so yeah i like him. there are too many sports stars that are too big headed. he's one of the good ones. in brtian there is no racial thing at all.
i mean most of the most loved boxers are black. nationality plays a aprt but everyone loves
holyfield, ssr, srl hagler etc.

Cotto Mosley and Mayweather Hatton are two semifinal matches. The clamor for the two winners to face one another will be relentless. The final will commence and the winner of that final match will be pretty much a lock for the HOF if they aren't already.

Miguel Cotto.he Is Similar To Jose Luis Castillo In His Inside Game, castillo Had The Better Chin,so That Will Give Floyd A False Sense Of Bravery In Trading With Him.floyd My Second Favorite Fighter Will Lose To My Number 1.it Is Constant Pressure That Floyd Has Trouble With Not Height Or Speed, but Constant Pressure, and That Is Miguel's Best Quality As A Fighter.
