um, so because those are better fighters they obviously have better footwork? Hatton IS footwork man, if he didnt have that he'd have tony booth's record by now.

Footwork puts you in the position to be able to punch the guy in front of you. In Hatton's case, his footwork puts him in the position to 'clinch' his opponent and headbutt him, elbow him etc.

It's all about footwork. First thing they teach you in boxing..

Footwork is getting himself in the position to punch the other guy. Just because he doesn't go in and out...doesn't mean he doesn't have great footwork.

          Um, no.

If he wasn't fighting the Pendleton's and Oliveira's he'd have Tony Booth's record.

            Lol ok.

Azteca knows what he's talking about, anyone who says otherwise on this issue probably doesnt box.

PBF and Hatton are the only things discussed on this forum. PBF's loud mouth and his defensive/evasive style of boxing. Hatton's hugging and him ballooning up to 170ish lbs between fights.

People say that Floyd ducked competition and that Hatton ducked Floyd. Floyd may have ducked KT but Hatton did not duck Floyd. To duck, in my opinion, means to say that you’re the best and are willing to fight anyone, and then when the fight is offered decline or put in impossible to meet demands. Hatton did not say he was the best. He said he was not ready to fight Floyd. That’s not ducking. Now he thinks he’s ready and he’s signed the fight.
