If the Welliver fight wouldn't have fallen through that would have been his biggest test. Chapman was ready to sign and Welliver backed out like a *****.

There’s bigger fish in the sea than Welliver; what about Brian Minto? Tye Fields? Hasim Rahman? James Toney? Mike Mollo? Joe Mesi?...

Right now it's Marcus Rhode, depending on that outcome we'll have to wait and see what comes down the pike. It's not like Hirsch is going to put Chapman up against a top 10 fighter any time soon because JD isn't ready for that kind of fight. In fact when I heard that they were trying to line up a fight with Saleem I nearly fell out of my chair. We all wanted to see the Welliver fight and it was a shame that Welliver backed out for no reason other than fear.

Yo, BadBlood your boy JD Chapman aint going nowhere. He could easily beat Tye Fields, Vinny Maddelone, Brian Minto, Hasim Rahman. He seriously needs to step up the competition. I would like to see him fight Chauncey Welliver. Somebody needs to KO that ***** Welliver, he is a disgrace to the HW division. He has good skills. I saw him fight live numerous times, great fighter, and a very friendly person aside the ring.

The Welliver fight would have been the perfect fight for JD at this point in his career, too bad Welliver doesn't have the belly for it.

What about James Toney Badblood? In his last outing, he barely beat the handpicked journey Danny Batchfelder. If JD, beat James Toney, he'd gain alot of popularity with hw fans...

JD is the definition of an average fighter. I've never been very high on him.
