      So you say Turpin is an all time great?...if you say so,I believe you...that's two.

      Benn and Honeygan....please,you must can do better than that.Good fighters,maybe...but all time greats?...please...

      Are they in the Hall of Fame???

        And pretty Much ALL OF THE PIONEERS OF BOXING in the Hall of fame are British.
        Back in the days when fights lasted 20 or more rounds.

            The ONE and only reason why Fighters SOMETIMES CHOOSE to fight in America is for the PAYDAY.
            Other countries don't try to be like the US as most other countries have their own History and Culture and are fiercely proud.
            The US doesn't really have a definitive culture as it is a bastardised mix of ex-europeans and descendants of African ******.
            Every other Nation has an Identity.
            The US tries to impose it's way of life on the rest of the world and that is where the problem lies.

              The big pay day just happens to come with fighting the best , if you are good enough the money will always come anyway ,, what drives the greats to the next level is their desire to be the best , the greats fight for the glory , not money , thats just a fringe benefit .

                Not knocking you but these days I find it hard to believe that a lot of champs adhere to what you say.
