Its weird when u think about it, all the biggest, most popular, and greatest champs present or legend, such as dempsey, are american. Weird, wonder why that is? oh yeh, i know why.... it's because they are American and not english, sorry i forgot.

Calzone will never end up like Holyfield...a true,champion...respected by all.

BTW...has there ever been a true champion from Britain?...one that was regarded by the world a THE Champion?

        Someone like an Ali,a Foreman,a Sugar Ray,Robinson or Leornard...a Hagler,a Hearns,Frazier,Louis,a prime Tyson,a Pryor,Johnson,and so on....get the picture.

The answer of course is no...maybe Battin' Barney back in 1901...chuckle,chuckle.

Help me out...I can't think of one.

        Randy Turpin beat SRR.

Oh, sorry i thought i was on a boxing forum discussing topics that pertained to boxing, good point though i really see how that has to do with the conversation. if u want to go off topic then let me just say America owns all other countries and thats why we are the only superpower in the world. We are the richest, the smartest, the strongest, the best looking people (unlike ur english woman with dirty rotted out teeth), and the best athletes (which includes boxing). thats why like i said before, 9 out of 10 ALL boxing legends that are known world-wide by boxing fans are American. like or not ur country has crappy, for the most part, boxers and thats why all over the world boxers can easily build there records by fighting in other countries but america. take many cubans for example, there are a lot of cuban boxers and some have great records, like samuel miller for example, and the second they fight an american journeyman for the first time in American soil, like Dirrel Woods, gets knocked out or lose. happens all the time. AMERICA OWNS U

not a chance, maybe if jc would have gone to the states and fought the top names of the late 90's-00's instead of believing his wbo title was the be-all-and-end-all and that everyone should go to him he might of carved himself out a legacy. i think he'll beat kessler but mk is straight up euro style (as good as he is). i dont think he would of been able to cope with hopkins/jones of 5 years ago, maybe not even with tarver/johnson, but we'll never know. hatton could have stayed in manchester fighting punks but he knew if he wanted the best he had to go get them, and get rid of warren in the process

What , by staying home being protected and fighting washed up names or nobodys , get real ,,, Im not American but I know that the really big fights , the real top fighters from all over the world all go to the US and fight the best to prove themselves against the best ,,, its the mecca of world boxing , its the place the best fight ,,, right or wrong , like it or lump it , but dont try denying it ,,, ask Ricky Hatton why he went to Vegas , ask Kostya , ask Fenech its every champs dream to be a champ in Vegas , its part of the road that leads to world recognition as a champion fighter .

Now concerning Joe , because he has not gone to the states is not the reason I think he is over rated , its because his resume says so , he just hasnt fought elite fighters that was not over the hill , no big deal padded resumes are built every day .
