I'll be one of the richest who does't skim points.. That's for sure.

Looking at the Judah fight objectively I CANNOT see how Cotto could possibly win this fight. He's going to have to deal with 1000 times the punches Judah was throwing - which was basically none. Cotto was freezing up and shutting down everytime Judah threw anything. Shane is going to pile combinations into Cotto's ****.. I hurts my brain to think about it.

Mosley showed how amazingly clever and workmanlike he is in his current state against Collazo. His ring IQ is one of the best out there. Cotto lunges in with predictable jabs and leads, his body is squared up like a bullseye.. It might be better for Cotto if he gets caught early - because he will take a sustained humiliated beating if Mosley decides to toy with him..

Anyway, one of Tito's biggest mistakes is not getting a new trainer and keeping his pappy in his corner.

Mosley's counterpunching was brilliant in the Collazo fight. Countering a qucik, skillful, and methodical fighter as Collazo isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to do. With Cotto being slower, less defensive, and being at a disadvantage in both reach and height departments, he will be left open for both leads and counters. Unless he gets rid of shane early i don't see how he's going to win this fight. He would have to walk throw tons of accurate punches in order to get to mosley consistently. Compounding matters even more for miguel, something tells me shane isn't going to be playing pattycake either.

            ** Nope.

Picking Mosley who has proven impossible short of a massive headbutt to hurt, plus has experience, strength, and fast hands.

Cotto is no class B fighter, nor Tito. You're way off base there. He could prove me wrong by being that rare welter, but I think Mosley can hurt him early, and if not KO him, endure the storm for the win. If he beats Mosley legit, he's got a genuine HOF admission card. Should be a great fight.

I agree. Shane has made it clear he will be putting a strong emphasis on Jack Mosley's "power boxing" technique. Shane is licking his chops for this one. Leads and counters all the way. I hear that.

** Already on record as picking Mosley.

You're all wrong though. Mosley did not show much IQ against Winky, or in chosing the rematch. Any IQ he has is a recent development to compensate for waning natural talent and loss of steroids. At any rate, Collazo not a big puncher and was fighting with a broken hand which gave Shane a free reign.

Cotto is a very intelligent fighter with great natural instincts. He usually takes a few rounds to get sorted out though which is a weakness Shane might exploit. If the fight goes past 5, Shane has his work cut out as Cotto is extremely powerful and methodically fundamental the way he breaks down fighters.

Did I say Mosley showed IQ against Winky? I said in his "current state."

What does fighting Winky have to do with IQ anyway? You're just trying to railroad Shane Mosley and take him down a few notches with that BULL****.

Collazo broke his thumb. BIG difference. You can still make a fist with a broken thumb and Collazo showed NO problems continuously throwing his left as exhibited in the fight clip from the 4th round UPWARD.

Cotto is a "very intelligent" fighter? Huh??? HOW? Go ahead..

Bump. I'd like to know how Cotto is such an intelligent fighter myself.

If you're smart, you'll bet Mosley.
