Dios is something of a hypoctire. Aside from one or two "Hatton is a great opponent, big up Floyd for taking this tough fight" almost every single post has been about how bad Hatton is and how he stands no chance whatsoever. I try very hard to keep things relatively objective when I post. I'm picking Hatton to win, and I'm a fan of Hatton but I'm not making too bold a statement saying I think he wins a close decision. On the other hand there has been considerable noise from the other side of the debate along the lines of "Hatton stands no chance, he will get beat bad pwn dat ass iz tapt lolz" all written at various levels of literacy.

Aside from a couple of morons the Hatton side has been largely quietly optimistic. The Floyd side has been... obnoxious.

because of the era and the fact that fights were on regular tv, if you notice, how many boxers since 1990, the pay per view era, not named de la hoya and tyson have had that effect?

Yeah, but B.J. how can anybody seriously believe Floyd is more exciting to watch than Leonard? Seriously. We all have eyes. That is not true. Not running down Floyd's skill, but they were talking about excitement. Floyd in no way compares to Leonard in excitement or attracting attention to boxing..."IMO.'

that wasnt the point of my post, arguing whos more exciting is a matter of opinion, i cant tell someone who they think is more exciting, thats how they feel.

Duran only won the 1st fight because leonard fought his fight, and when he did that, everyone loved him for it. in the 2nd fight leonard showed he was in a class above duran and forced him to quit. yea the hagler fight left a bad taste in alot of peoples mouth, but his KO of hearns and demolition of duran speaks volumes.

However you feel about Leonard, and I'm one that was pissed off about the Hagler fight, he's still much greater to the history of boxing than Floyd! lol
