Ray Leonard??:? The way he pranced and danced his way to a decision against Hagler taking his title...that Leonard???

Or dancing his way to a victory against Duran in the rematch because he couldn't win toe to toe against him.

Please.....Leonard does have more power at welterweight then Floyd which is why he got more knockouts but nothing about him is more entertaining then Floyd.....Nothing.

Fear not, for i shall remain. We mock what we do not understand!

My day will come early in december, and from that day on- i will hold sway over the evil nuthuggers of these boards!

Smoke and Mirrors. Works everytime. The general public is played the fool constantly- it is not undeserved.

How many times must superman fall before his zealots wake up. Jones,Hopkins, and soon Mayweather.

Gonna be a sad Christmas for you peeps!

Common now. You can't have it both ways. If you don't like his fighting style then you don't like it......but do not mix that in with floyd spanking Hatton's ass all over the ring.

Floyd is a boxer....he is not gonna stand there and slug it out.....Get over it.
I see what you're saying Vlad. It is an unequal standard at work here. But, in my view it's Floyd's legacy that is what is important here. Surely, Hatton's legacy is at issue too, but Floyd is the favorite, the self proclaimed greatest, #1 p4p, etc.... He's the one under the gun in this fight, although you may not agree. IMO, ok? Peace.

            Who cares what he inspired???

He fought Duran in the rematch in a similar fashion that Floyd will fight Hatton.

Floyd never danced on his toes as much as Leonard....never.

At best they're equally as exciting BUT in no way is Leonard more exciting then floyd.

His fighta against Tommy Hearns was great but that's because he was forced into that type of fight. He couldn't outbox Tommy so he started getting more agressive. Floyd has beena agressive numerous times against fighters pressing the action.

            Stop being a hypocrite.

Leonard fought world class fighters in their prime and beat them ,Leonard inspird genrations of fighters cooincidence NO he cant have been as boring as Floyd can he

so your just dismissing the fact he stopped fighters with his power the reason for that is he was willing to sit down on his punches in range aswell as Box ,PBF does'nt knock that many people out no because he does'nt hit hard but because he has a negative style he does'nt plant his feet you cant do that going backwards so clearly Leonard never run as much as you are suggesting

Floyd doesn't knock people out as much anymore because he started as a super-featherweight, nothing else.

And the fact that Leonard beat world class fighers doesn't mean ****. We were talking about excitement and I gave you two examples of his borring boxing style:

                1. Frustrating Duran into quitting because he was dancing around like a break dancer taunting him with all them cute lil moves.

                2. Dancing his way into a close decisioned and still debated victory against Hagler, throwing a buncha flurries the last 30 seconds of every round.

Two big wins against world class competition = Still not exciting.
