It's really tough to judge all time lists when there are fighters who don't have much, if any, video footage of them. Even Ray Robinson is not shown at his best weight on video, so for any non-heavyweight legend from the 20s like Johnny McGinty or Benny Leonard we're just basically taking Nat Fleischer's word for it. Considering how little footage there is of even the biggest hollywood names like Jack Dempsey we're unfortunately never going to be lucky enough in this day and age to see the Toucan in action.

come on..as much as people dislike Tyson the man was an Excellent combination puncher..his Trainer Rooney had all this memorized combos in numbers.

            Some others include:

            Arturo Gatti
            Miguel Cotto

            Roy Jones Jr

            Young Muhammad Ali
            Ray Leonard

Meldrick Taylor threw extremely fast flurries, he was a good combo puncher, but combos are more than just throwing a lot of quick shots.

It's more about creating and exploiting openings. I don't think Taylor did that as well as guys like Joe Louis, or a young Mike Tyson.

The footage of Robinson at 147 sucks. But there is enough of him at 160 to see how good he was at throwing combos.

He was brilliant at finishing with that double left hook. I loved the way he finished guys with a left hook to the body and left hook upstairs.
