It is not about who is "BETTER" it is about who can mimic and/or approximate the other guy's style.

Can you get a fighter to spar in a more "brawling" fashion? Yes. Can you tell your sparring partners to focus primarily on bodywork? Yes.

Can you get a fighter to spar in a "speedier/more skillful" fashion? No.
