Rod,
If anyone thinks Kostya Tszyu wanted ANY parts of Vince Phillips again, they are insane.
You are absolutely right. The mere mention of "Cool Vince" made Zoo **** his pants.

I responded to Dios saying that Tszyu said absolutely nothing about Floyd, ever....ho ho ho.You are such a numbnut Wiley , that interview does not bolster your bull**** at all , he mentions Mayweather in answering a direct question only , I really cant believe how ****** you are .
Dont you like how Kostya talks of Sharmba quitting ,,, why dont you find the interview with KT where he said after the Shamba fight ," he quit , we are fighters , even with broken bones we fight and never quit " ,,, LOL .
Kostya got KOed by a journeyman and then quit on his stool , Floyd would beat him without fuss .
Direct question for Wiley ,,, how old are you ? ,,, Im guessing 17 -20
Again (and this isn't the only time...just Google Kostya Tszyu and check it all out for yourself), as I always said, Tszyu was always open to anybody who wanted him, especially Floyd. YOU and Dios and 2 or 3 other of you Mayweatherites wanted to see a statement by Tszyu in this regard. Well here it is again from October 25, 2004:
Scoop: Comment on fighting Floyd Mayweather...
Kostya Tszyu: "It would be a great fight. I fought his uncle (Roger - W12 in '95 in Newcastle, Australia) who's training him now. It would be good to fight him too. I remember after Olympic Games ('96) we were in same room as Bob Arum, he just start his career. I already was world champion. It would be a good, good matchup. If the short time will be able to produce this match, it will be great fight."
Now incidentally this statement was made EXACTLY during the time period when Tszyu was available for those 2 months to take a fight with Floyd. As has been repeated many times....Floyd never "muttered" a word. INSTEAD, he chose to fight Arturo Gatti. The last of the 5 bums. This here is evidence.
From 2003-2004, Floyd fought the 5 bums. No Tszyu. No mention of Tszyu, the HOF champion of 140. No mention. Never. No serious inquires by the Floyd camp. Nothing.
Floyd dodged Tszyu. It is done.Comment

They asked him about floyd he answered that it would be a great fight. Nothing else to it. If Kostya had stayed on top and hadn't lost to Hatton the fight would have been made sooner or later, he didn't. Now Floyd is fighting Hatton. Hatton has been ducking Floyd saying he needs tune up's but now feels ready.I responded to Dios saying that Tszyu said absolutely nothing about Floyd, ever....ho ho ho.

I understand what you say Vlad. Fair enough. But, don't anybody ever seriously say, as has Dios, that Tszyu ran from Floyd. That is nonsense. They asked him about floyd he answered that it would be a great fight. Nothing else to it. If Kostya had stayed on top and hadn't lost to Hatton the fight would have been made sooner or later, he didn't. Now Floyd is fighting Hatton. Hatton has been ducking Floyd saying he needs tune up's but now feels ready.

And, saying the fight would have been made "sooner or later" is wishful thinking. Maybe so, maybe no. The fact is that Floyd had years to take on Tszyu. He didn't ever make a serious attempt to do this. Hell, Tszyu was 36 in 2005. I suspect that Floyd may have gotten around to Tszyu "later" rather than "sooner." Maybe by the time he reached his 38th birthday...maybe.
But, for your consideration let me amend my case by qualifying my case with the inscription; IMO. Now lets let this thing be done with.
p.s. Dios, you're a fool.Comment

I 'm going to date myself, but I used to go to PeggySue's back when I was in college.

You know, once you get your ass stomped by a journeyman, it robs you of your confidence. So I can understand why Tszyu hid from Mayweather.
Floyd is no Phillips.Comment
