What Hatton does is clinch and clinch some more. See Hatton/Urango for examples. He had a come forward fighter in front of him and he clinched his way to victory.

As far as Casamayor being done. I don't buy that, let them fight and I bet you it will be the toughest fight of Juan's career. He will probably escape by some kind of decision but I guarantee that fight will be close.

Agreed, hatton throws less and throws less efficently. However, when he (once in a blue moon, when hes not wrestling) lands, he lands with some thunder. Juan Diaz's punches look good but are not designed to hurt the oppenent. And when talking about beating floyd.. if you can't hurt him, than forget about it, you feel?

I dunno about Casa to be honest.. He was missing his step last year on ESPN fight nights. And his last fight against a worn out rapidly declining fighter that was struggling to make weight (R.I.P) , was far from impressive.. But than again he always has a boxers chance since Juan Diaz has never fought a slick soutpaw such as Casa.

Judan Diaz has Joel Casamayor to worry about. Another slick boxer. If he can beat him then I might be convinced that he is capable of hanging with the Floyd
yeah but cassamayor isn't on mayweather's level as far as overall skills go. juan diaz would be outclasses havily fighting floyd, plus juan showed some good speed but in the pocket against floyd, especially at 135 where mayweather was faster than he is now, floyd would have tore diaz up.

I can't disagree on that. That's why I said he needs to show me and all of us that he can beat a Casamayor who has less tools as a boxer-puncher then floyd. Miguel Cotto proved himself against slick fighters such as Malinaggi, Quintana, Judah. That's why people give him a chance against Mayweather........Juan hasn't proven he can hang with every type of boxing style out there.

I don't know...I think it would be a very good contest.

juan's inside fighting is far more tactical than Hattons, when do you see hatton throwing 4,6 punch combinations, backing off, throwing 3 punches to the body, then uppercuts upstairs WITHOUT CLINCHING? Hatton is far rougher than diaz, but diaz is a sound tactical fighter. Hattons idea of inside fighting is flatout ****ing boring.

Diaz did one thing last night that would give Mayweather a huge advantage. Sure, he put the pressure on in truckloads, but made no attempt to put Julio on the ropes, he merely was staying in close. Floyd could come in and deal with Juan in the pocket (albeit eating a bit of leather) and then take a step back and box him easily. When Castillo fought Julio and Floyd he put them on the ropes and gave them a both a very physical beating. Juan was aggressive, but not physical enough.

the outcome of the PBF-Hatton fight will prolly be just the same as this one... But Mayweather will have a easier fight with Juan because Hatton has more power, both punching and clinching

Mayweather-Diaz would look good, I would pick Mayweather, I dont think it would be easy, but not the fight of Mayweather's life either.

Forget every fight he does it everyday. That being said Floyd would win by UD Juan is a beast though and I think seeing how Floyd handles Hatton's PRESSURE (not technical infighting ability) will say alot about how he would handle Juans.

Its a great fight IMO. Not nearly as onesided as some of the posters on here are gonna say it would be.

But maybe im just really high on that amazing performance to judge it yet
Yeah... because Julio Diaz' handspeed and offense is very comparable to Floyd Mayweather's.
