Hehehe...Juan Diaz hits like a woman! LOL

PAC will land his straight left all night long! Juan's face will be badly cut if not he'll kiss the canvass and the night goodnight!!!

but would Juan beat Pacquiao? very debatable. I think sometimes Juan still lets punches in a little too often, and those quick, powerful straight lefts change fights. Juan's defence has improved tremendously, but it lapses sometimes.
What would interest me a lot is how Pacquiao deals with real infighting. hes best at midrange, I would say...far away enough that he can generate his power, but close enough so that his punch will actually reach the target.

Personally, I think its a bit too hard a fight for Juan at the moment. but if he continues to improve at his rate...different story.

also, keep this in mind...he Manny gets hit with combinations when hes off balance after missing a shot, he retreats. watch his fights, he will do it. Juan throws combinations after missed or blocked punches, and he throws a LOT of punches, and very fast. and when Pacquiao's balance is off, his head tends to get snapped back a lot by punches, no matter how hard they are. not good signs.
But we'll just have to continue to see how they fight in the future. I think it would be a TREMENDOUS fight.
as stated before, juan fights better whe he consistently turns his opponents and beats them to the punch while utilizing his jab....

Like I said boys. Juan fights good when he is in a good rythym. The guys he fights are straight forward guys. Textbook fighters. You know what you are going to get with them.

Pac is an entirely different story. How do you prepare a fighter who has the speed (hand and foot) and awkwardness of Manny. And a guy that punches from all angles. Who would you bring in to spar?

He was more of a 1 punch KO type of guy back in his lighter days of flyweight and 122. Not anymore. Let's think rationale.
I know what u'r doing, you ran out of Mexican fighters to pit against Pacman...y cant you just wait for them to fight b4 u open u'r trap? Oh BTW, Juan hits like a girl....how many times does he have to slap Julio into submission? LOL

I am impressed by Juan Diaz's performance tonight.

Pac vs Diaz will be a good fight. As a Pac fan i will root for him to win but its a tossed up, i have to give a slight edge to Juan.

Pac, even though not a great techincal boxer like Barrera or JM Marquez, he has improved in that area and still learning from Roach. Even MAB said Pac had a good defence. A member here also said that when Pac gets tag, Pac tends to move out, while Julio was still standing in front of Juan. Pac's weight during fight night was around 138-144 in his last 5 fights, so he can carry his power at 130 to 135. His speed is still there. Pac needs to work on his accuracy on his punching.

Juan Diaz, like Pac, has great stamina, a relentless puncher. But he lacks punching power. He can take a punch but he said Julio got power when interviewed by Merchant. Watching tonight's fight, it seems a couple of Julios punches affected Juan but its really hard to tell cuz of Juan'w work rate .Juan got heart and determination. I have also seen Juan fough 4x and this fight is the only one i have seen recieved more punches, his faces show it all.

Cong**** to JD. Even though i give a slight edge to JD, i am still rooting for Pacman.
