1 his trainer seemed to think otherwise and openly admits they ducked marquez. he was too good a boxer, too technically, it would have been a boring shutout win for jmm

2 it isnt bull**** that hamed couldnt hang with the best featherweights. the first time he fought an elite featherweight, he was dominated, and for all intents and purposes, left the game afterwards. you dont get any benefit of the doubt after that. the only thing we can go on is that he lost to the only elite fighter he faced.

Naseem wasnt at his best when he fought Barrera. Im not even saying that Naseem was at one time in his career a better fighter than MAB but if he had stuck with Ingle no way would that fight have played out like that.

Amir khan is the most exciting finisher in British boxing since Naz IMO.

I hope his resume is better than Naseem's. His popularity may reach that level, which is not a bad thing at all.

and as i said before if a better 'ingle' version of hamed would have turned up barrera would also have shown us more, mab was in cruise control for most of the fight only opening up in the last 3 rounds

This comment from Warren reminds me of a scene in the British version of the Office where David Brent talks to an east indian employee:

Brent: Oh this guy does a wicked Ali G impersonation!
              Employee: No I don't...
Brent: Oh must be the other one then...
Employee (angrily): The other what? p aki?
              Employee walks off
              Brent: That's racist....

I mean what have Naz and Amir got in common other than ethnicity?

Talk about pressure on the kids shoulders!

Hamed was something else in his prime
