Cotto is one of the best body punchers in the game today. After Torres rocked him it was his body punches that got him back in the fight. After Judah rocked you gotta expect him to go to the body. If Judah wants to put his glove on Cotto's head when he's doing so (like in Steptwome's pic) then thats what happens. Even if they dont pull his head down it's gonna happen sometimes when your fighting body punchers. Just like when he goes to the body and guys turn away and get punched in the back, what's he supposed to do pull his punch? I dont think Cotto intentionally throws low but he doesnt go out of his way not to either.

I have Cotto's whole carreer on DVD and IMO he's a ruff fighter but not a dirty one.

Actually Larry Merchant says during the Cotto/Judah fight that Cotto has no history of being a dirty fighter and that they were probably accidental.

It's not even worth arguing with them. These guys are fueled by so much hate and bitterness that they will look for any way to diss Cotto.

I can see them watching Cotto's fights and anxiously waiting for something to get him on. "Look, Cotto hit Corley low after he got wobbled, omg lolz I'm gonna bring this up in NSB!"

But they'll ignore Corley hitting Miguel low, and hitting him after the bell. And they'll ignore the fact that Cotto got points deducted for a waistline shot as you can see in the replay. They'll ignore that Torres' corner told him that if Cotto hit him with a borderline shot to fall down and scream to try to steal a point. They'll ignore the fact that Torres had him wobbled many times, and Cotto never once resorted to a low blow. They'll ignore the fact that he was already pressing forward on steady legs and throwing combinations before he hit Judah low. Ignore that Quintana hit him low twice, and so on.

Look up some of Addison's old posts. He did the same exact thing before the Judah fight, except maybe even worse. He put down a lot of money on Judah to win too. Every single respected Judah fan came on here and gave Cotto is due, and Addison came back a couple of days later crying about Cotto winning because of low blows. He cant let it go, and he never will. It's gotten to the point where I don't even want Cotto to win for Cotto. I want him to win so Addison can let it go.

And later today he'll quote this post, go searching for a post and bold a sentence where he might have given Cotto an ounce of credit. Then ignore all of his bitching rants about Judah losing because Cotto is a cheater.

Funny how some of the blind Cotto supporters here are talking garbage and not admiting that he has dirty tendencies, but were the first ones to talk bad about Nard' as he bullied Stinky Winky.

Well I'm not one of them. I think 'Nard's tactics might have earned him a point deduction though. And I don't care if everyone thinks Cotto is dirty, and he may be to some. It's the discrediting his career and past wins because of it that bothers me. It wasn't until the Judah fight that these things were even questioned.
