Reporter: In his last fight, Cotto seemed to be hurt twice early and responded with immediate low blows. Is that something you worry about or watch out for?

JM: We’ve looked at that. We’ve looked at videos of all his fights and he can get down and dirty. This is a championship bout and while they are both professional fighters, it’s still a fight. I’m not saying you want to look to throw low shots, but if you’re in a fight and you get hit with one there comes a time when you hit back. We’ve been looking closely at Cotto and we’ll be ready.

Great post. That shot to the pelvic area really hurts and it takes a lot of energy from the opponent. He only does it when he's hurt. I don't blame him at all ( you gotta do what you gotta do) but the ref's should take note.

Cotto has to come really good to beat Mosley. Miguel is no Vernon.

yeah miguel is one of my favorites but he does tend to get dirty when he is frustrated or hurt.....
