I think thats ridicilous!! Holyfield is american and hes a legend, its unbelievable that the fight will not be shown on TV not even on free TV!! I know hes declining but hes a legend and that fact allone should be a reason to show the fight!! Im not even an american but i dont understand that, if Holyfield would be a german fighter it would be hyped and hyped and shown on german TV and million would watch it!

blame espn. they couldn't even put it on espn2, they were regulating it to ****ing espn classic. its a HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT. i know that has lost some luster, but still. they should have bought the rights and put it on ABC..
and, btw, if it was on ABC it would draw amazingly well. people just clicking onto it. It's in russia, so people would be like whoa, rocky 4. there is a white dude who has skill, don't people ALWAYS like the white HW with a little spring in the step? AND, ****ing holyfield! He beat tyson, he is well known, people still remember him from dancing with the stars. You'd get all those people that switch between CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX. there is no way holyfield is going to get "murdered" although he might get beaten badly. the guy has always been able to take a punch, even when he couldn't punch. he has a little more mobility and a lot more strength than he did 5 years ago (way less mobility but more strength than 10 years ago).
as long as he doesn't punch himself out he is eventually going to overpower brag. i mean, seriously, holyfield is a smart fighter. he is going to use the tools he has to the best of their ability. he is going to use his weight to lean on him, use his power, etc..Comment
