I don't get why so many of you clowns talk about how much he "deserves"! You're not the one paying him, period. I don't give a **** if they each get paid $25 dollars or $25 million dollars, I just hope to see them fight. They both deserve a ****load of money for willingly stepping in there against another guy who wants to hurt them. I think that alone entitles them to ask for however much money they want, don't complain about it just cuz you're a Manny Pacquiao fan. Let them work out the money issues, you just stick to watching fights. Just shut your trap and realize who the champion is, the champion has what people want and that is the title.Comment

There are limits to one's leverage power in asking for more money if a fight. Considerations like being a draw, fanbase, popularity, etc must be considered.
JMM doesn't have that much leverage to speak of. Pac can just dust him off if his ****** and idiotic manager decided to overprice him again. There are so many fighters waiting in line for a money fight with pac that pac doesn't need to wait on JMM for his peanuts.
Quite the opposite actually. If JMM doesn't decide for himself. Pac will definitely leave him crying for his payday. Pac has already lined up Valero, Guzman, Soto, the 3 Diaz. All of which are fine elites.Comment

This will surely happen if JMM just fire Nacho.
It's because of him he's still in the shadows of Barrera and The Great Morales. Whilst these 2 are counting their millions and millions of dollars in payday money, poor JMM is forced to settle for 50k fights then later on lose via dubious decisions.Comment

I'd say Marquez boxed his ears off, after that first Round.
I went into that fight rroting for Pac and was screaming at the TV during Round 1. But, by the end of the fight, I was left praising JJM for putting on one hell of a bxoing clinic after that.
It was defintely a night when Pac's lack of experience resulted in the Draw. In the rematch, I see a UD for JJM, 115-113. The score will be close, but like the first Morales fight, it'll be a clear winner at the final bell.Comment

You are wrong dude, titles DO mean something. A lot of fights get made using the title as leverage. Just because you're a Pacquiao fan it doesn't mean he's above these basic laws. I know some of you Pac fans would wanna see Pac move past fighting humans altogether and fight beasts or dragons cuz your head is so far up your ass that you think he can do no wrong and he can do whatever he wants and anybody who fights him is a *****. All I gotta say is you're not the one paying the fighters so STFU, boxers deserve every penny they get, overpriced or not. They actually have the balls to step up and fight great fights not just sit there and admire boxers from their computer screens. JMM deserves all of the $2M and I hope he gets it to school Pacquiao one more time.Comment

it's just understanding the business bro... cause when people say PAC is ducking JMM, we have to lay down the facts why the rematch didn't happen... and i have to disagree with you... fans get these fighters paid... so fans are entitled to their own opinion... no fans to buy, watch the fights, no money for the fighters...
Arum-DLH will probably offer JMM 1.5M to 2M, and i won't be surprised if nacho/JMM asks for 3M... they would like to take the bigger share of the purse like before...Comment

The Champion allways gets the bigger Purse but since Paquiao is such a star then a 50/50 Purse should be good, I could of sworn I read an article that manny said he wanted a belt at 130 before he moved up.Comment

That's a valid point but I wasn't talking about the actual logistics. Of course we pay the fighters when we buy the fight and everybody is entitled to their opinion but you don't personally dish out 1.5 million dollars or whatever to watch these guys fight. If you actually did that then you'd have a right to think about how much each guy deserves. However if you're a fan of boxing and two fighters each get paid $2million to fight then why should you care as long as you only have to pay the 50 bucks to watch it? That's what I was referring to, all the people who act like little girls complaining that he's asking for too much money and he doesn't deserve it. I just know that Im gonna support and pitch in my $50 to cover JMM's $2 million whenever the time comes to watch the fight. That's all I care about and I'm not bitching about who gets paid what. I wanna see the champ take on the challenger and whatever money they both make is none of my business.Comment

seriously though, this may be one of those fights that belts really dont matter... belts are only meaningful if the challenger wants to take it from the holder... in this case PAC really does not want the belt, he will fight marquez with or without the belts so JMM's argument to have the bigger purse is moot.Comment
