Golden Boy Wants Pacquiao-Marquez Rematch

Pac was interviewed yesterday regarding fans desire for him to have a rematch with juan manuel. He said the problem with team marquez is that they wanted more than what they should be getting and wanted to get bigger purse than him. He said if negotiation about the rematch turn positive then he would definitely fight him next year. He said he will have three fights next year and he wants to stay at 130 to fight valero. He said he was picqued by what marco said during the post fight conference that valero would beat him.

I can see you are a huge pacman fan and not knowing what is going on with Marquez.

Marquez has a lot of fan support. Just see his fights and you'll see a lot of people screeming for Marquez. And yelling his name in the fight.


Marquez defently deserves the 2 milliion. Just like Pacquiao felt he deserved more money to fight Morales for a 3rd time or else he wasn't going to fight. If Pacquiao is so marketable then why all the bull**** that they can't pay Marquez the 2 million he wants?

I can point to Delahoya, the golden boy would pay his opponets ridiculous money more then they had ever earned. Why because they deserved it, because he could pay them that kind of money.

So if Pacquiao doesn't bring in 2 million for Marquez then admit it and say Pacquiao fame and draw is all bull**** and he hardly sells and there for they can't pay Marquez the money he deserves.

Valid points, but Marquez isn't asking for a % of the PPV or gate. I'm not totally sure. If marquez isn't, give him the $2,000,000 and go on with the fight. A fight with Marquez pays Manny much more than Valero, Soto or anyone else right now. There is more history and a higher talent level in Marquez than the others. And Manny cares about legacy, its evident, so why doesn't he make his legacy, a loss wouldn't hurt him, it would create a trilogy, a win cements his stature as the man, and he can move on up in weight. I LOVE Manny I do, his rebelious style in and out of the ring makes him a living legend. I also am a huge fan of Marquez for how he was ducked by Naz and his technical agressive style is pure art to me. This fight needs to happen and both egos need to realize that a fight of this magnitude is greater than any purse they can receive. Let Manny be the Mexican killer and let Marquez try to pick Pac-Man apart. They both will make good money off of it. 1.5 could be fair, but 2 is fine as well.
