Once again proving your ignorance. Barrera opts to try to outbox Pacquiao and stay out of his range and he's instantly "frightened". I wouldn't say Barrera was overly eager to trade with Pac either, he was clearly trying to play it safe and smart. But that kind of disrespect for a guy like Barrera is just ******ity at it's highest level. Especially considering the fact that he's been in so many fights and has had a pretty serious brain operation, but hey, he didn't want to eat all of Pac's powershots so I guess he was frightened right?

I bet if he would've went to war with Pac, you'd have labelled him "******".

Coming from you that means nothing. Anytime a fighter makes a decisive choice to stay outside of reach and try to win using classical boxing skills, you try your best to turn them into a marathon runner. I think Barrera's plan worked alright, it certainly didn't win him the fight but it did nullify every bit of power Pacquiao had.

But then again, I bet you're the kinda guy who'd war with Pacquiao even though you're an older, battle-scarred fighter who's had a serious brain operation and has a family to support. Risk it all right? Life only exists in the ring!

classical boxing skills is ALI. he stays outside but tries to win too, not losing the killer instinct. Marco didnt have that.

He has nothing. Pacman would kill him. Why is he ever concidering fighting this guy?

****ing Guzman. That's a better fight. **** Valero. He is OVERRATED!

I thought you were smarter than that Keng, especially when I revealed to you last night that those threads are meant as clear jokes and all.......

I could easily argue that Ali was a "runner" too and many people would agree. But I agree by comparison, Marco had no desire to win. I said that in the round by round coverage while watching the stream in the 7th round. I can't fault him for not wanting to fight Pacquiao, because if I were in his shoes, I would've done the same thing. I can also agree with the fact that Marco did not fight his last fight in a style suited to a Mexican legend.

I can't fault him for that though, he has kids and life exists outside of boxing. I'd rather see him lose and not get hurt, than win and get his brains beaten in once again just so I can point to him and say "there's a warrior!".
