Is this a joke? How does someone become a legit contender by beating Jeremy Williams. The same Jeremy Williams who only shows up on the WBC rankings and its at 37 which is two spots ahead of Michael Sprott. The same Jeremy Williams who three fights ago had a draw with Alfred Cole. The same Jeremy Williams who lost to Brian Nielsen, Maurice Harris, Henry Akinwande, and Larry Donald. What is Williams best win, Purlette or Nicholson? Either way though my money is still on Williams, but please tell me this is a joke.

Look at Kali Meehan, he was less known than Williams is and he got a title shot.Who has Kali Meehan fought that would warrant a title shot, IMO Williams would have been a much more deserving than Meehan. J. Williams has more losses than Meehan. Meehan has lost only to Danny Williams and that bogus decision to Brewster. Yeah, he got the shot on a fluke, but he's lightyears ahead of Jeremy Williams. J. Williams was in the MAIN EVENT of a ShoBox that Jameel McCline opened. It was absolutely awful.
